Build the Dance Carnival
the most fun event at State Summer Games in Bozeman
(February 1, 2010 — Bozeman) The State Summer Games management team is already planning on how to make the 2010 Special Olympic Summer Games even better! The 2010 Games are scheduled for May 12-14 in Bozeman with detailed scheduled still being finalized.
In the meantime, though, an immediate need for volunteers has come up. This year Special Olympics is combining their efforts for the decorations for both the Dance Carnival and the Olympic Village with the Bozeman Senior Prom and a benefit event for the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, both of which are also non-profit organizations.
Efforts are underway to create and build the decorations that will be used for these events.
If you are handy with a hammer or other tools or have a flair with decorating, we would love to get you involved! A group of volunteers meets weekly at Langohr's at 1100 S. Tracy in Bozeman. Currently, the group meets on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm. However, that time may change to 6pm - 8pm to possibly accommodate more people.
If you are interested in helping with this or need more information, please contact Betsy Huber at bhuber@murdochs.com or 580-5543.
Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to having you join in the fun for this year's State Summer Games!
