Friends & Family Dinner at State Summer Games 2026

Building Independence & Planning for the Future

Join us for an evening of connection, learning, and community at the Special Olympics Montana State Summer Games Friends & Family Dinner! This year’s topic, “Building Independence and Planning for the Future,” is designed to support families and caregivers as they navigate important life transitions and opportunities for their athletes. This special gathering will also serve as a Family Health Forum (FHF)—a welcoming space for parents, caregivers, and siblings of people with intellectual disabilities to connect with health professionals, community leaders, and social service providers.
We’re excited to welcome two knowledgeable and inspiring speakers:
  • Kent Morrison of Whitefish Thunder
  • Jen Hawkins from LIFTT
Together, they’ll share insights, resources, and practical strategies to help athletes build independence and prepare for what’s ahead.
This event isn’t just informative; it’s also a great chance to relax and connect. Enjoy a catered meal, enter to win fun prizes, and explore a variety of helpful resources available to support your family.
