For those wanting more of a “coach’s assistant” role, a team volunteer can help at weekly practices throughout a sport’s season; or help with logistics, fundraising or team administration. Many hands make light work, and your gifts could be just what a team needs!
AMT members provide oversight and decision making for the team processes, marketing, and finances in a local area. They meet regularly and pitch in when needed for activities and events. It’s a great way to experience the joy & inspiration of Special Olympics utilizing your personal leadership & organizational skills!
For those that can offer various one-day time slots throughout the year for local, regional and fundraising events and sports tournaments. Registration is only required that day and you are kept on a “Day of Volunteer” contact list by area staff and volunteers.
